SubDocta & Shlump Lead Us down a Deep & Dark Cavern with New Wakaan Single [Wakaan] Four years ago, SubDocta released an unofficial remix of Shlump’s “Hip Squeak.” Now, the two bass music talents are colliding on WAKAAN for their first collaborative single, “Cavern Dub.” Droplets from crystal stalactites descend into the mystical, dubby water currents. Producing a veil of ethereal reggae wobbles, “Cavern Dub” takes listeners on an expedition to the deepest depths of the bass chamber. Originally debuting on WAKAAN in 2016, “Cavern Dub” marks Shlump’s return to WAKAAN in over one year since his 2019 UNIVERSAL WUB, a collaborative EP with LSDREAM. Recently making his WAKAAN debut in December 2020, SubDocta has only continued to impress with his Crystals & Kombucha EP this past May. “Cavern Dub” is a preview of what’s to come from SubDocta’s next WAKAAN EP, and this team up of one of its oldest veterans and one of its newest recruits will surely turn heads. “Shlump and I have been friends for years.
