Sully Unleashes His Inner Beast with these New Altered Underground VIP’s & Remixes [Wakaan] Wakaan · Sully – Altered Underground (VIPs) Wakaan · Sully – Altered Underground [REMIXES] Sully is by far our favorite rising bass artist that brings the heat. The VIPz are definitely his best work to date as Sully reverse engineers each track to be a completely different genre or a heavy switch up that blows your mind. Sully has earned his spot & rightfully claimed his position in the bass scence as a major upcoming force to wreckon with. Sully has been KILLING for the past couple years but his sound and hardness nobody can match yet.
Jaenga Returns to Wakaan Giving Dubstep a Deeper Meaning with ‘Paradigms’ [Wakaan] Following his explosive WAKAAN debut last September 2020 with “Tell Man What” in collaboration with Conrank and Yizzy, Jaenga is returning to Liquid Stranger’s imprint for his electrifying Paradigms EP. Glistening synths and charming vocals ride blissful sound waves in “Refraction.” Manchester-based Nat James lends his rap prowess in the subsequent two tracks. The two artists command attention to all who listen through menacing lyricism and gritty patterns in “Badda,” followed by elongated bass dominance and addicting splices in “How We Do.” Eliminate all fears in “Don’t Worry” as buoyant, groovy bass frequencies ricochet across venue walls. “Heya Heya” closes the EP through a sonic excursion alongside dreamy vocal chops and luminous sensatories. “I was reading a book on paradigms and how we all view the world in our own unique way. No matter how hard we try, we’ll never see things objectively, but we can at least learn to communicate in a more effective way to respect one another’s perspective — even if we don’t fully understand. Paradigms is an EP designed for a specific mind-state. It is designed to bring high energy to whatever paradigm you live in. Its purpose is to bring you closer to whatever dream, mission or vision you are chasing — through the power of bass.” —Jaenga

SubDocta & Shlump Lead Us down a Deep & Dark Cavern with New Wakaan Single [Wakaan] Four years ago, SubDocta released an unofficial remix of Shlump’s “Hip Squeak.” Now, the two bass music talents are colliding on WAKAAN for their first collaborative single, “Cavern Dub.” Droplets from crystal stalactites descend into the mystical, dubby water currents. Producing a veil of ethereal reggae wobbles, “Cavern Dub” takes listeners on an expedition to the deepest depths of the bass chamber. Originally debuting on WAKAAN in 2016, “Cavern Dub” marks Shlump’s return to WAKAAN in over one year since his 2019 UNIVERSAL WUB, a collaborative EP with LSDREAM. Recently making his WAKAAN debut in December 2020, SubDocta has only continued to impress with his Crystals & Kombucha EP this past May. “Cavern Dub” is a preview of what’s to come from SubDocta’s next WAKAAN EP, and this team up of one of its oldest veterans and one of its newest recruits will surely turn heads. “Shlump and I have been friends for years. We met through the local Reno/Tahoe scene playing small festivals and what not. He’s a good homie, and once the pandemic hit, we were really able to put some time into a tune! I think it really showcases both of our styles and I’m excited for it to come out!”
